Founded by Brendan Edward James Baker, Stubborn Corgi Productions emerged from a deep love of storytelling and world-building—whether through thrilling fiction, immersive cinematic narratives, or cutting-edge interactive experiences. While building Stubborn Corgi, Brendan and his co-founder, Gary Baker, also developed an innovative approach to AI, ultimately resulting in the creation of RMOS (Recursive Metacognitive Operating System) and ACE (Augmented Cognition Engine). As the value of these products became clear, the decision was made to spin-off the tech into its own company, NeuroPlastic Dynamics, with Gary as the lead. This allowed Stubborn Corgi to recommit to content production, while using our ahead-of-market AI tech as an instrument for creative enhancement and business strategy. This early innovation is also proof of concept for Stubborn Corgi’s tech-forward, human-centric approach.

Brendan Baker is the co-founder and creative force behind Stubborn Corgi Productions, leading the company’s vision for original, thought-provoking storytelling across books, film, and other media. A novelist, screenwriter, musician, and former practicing lawyer, Brendan brings an interdisciplinary approach to narrative design, blending deep research, historical influence, and cutting-edge speculative fiction.

Before launching Stubborn Corgi Productions, Brendan published three novels and worked extensively in law, communications, and AI development. His experience spans eDiscovery litigation, bar association leadership, and AI research, but storytelling has always been his true north.

Now, he’s building Stubborn Corgi into a home for stories that captivate, reflect, and inspire. His launch project, Frackasaurus!, is just the beginning of a larger slate of genre-bending, high-concept storytelling designed for adaptation.
